Introductory golf courses – just have a go.
A 90-minute introduction to golfing
on our training range with our golf teacher followed by a fun-filled putting tournament! Equipment and balls are provided. All you need to bring with you are sport shoes and a good mood!

"Golf Handicap Certificate" Course
To play on Austrian and German courses you need a Golf Handicap Certificate, the equivalent of a golfer’s “driving licence”! This is the ideal way to start your golfing career.
24 lessons à 30 minutes of practical training on our training range:
- golfing rules and etiquette
- equipment rental
- free practice balls during tuition
- video analysis
- free use of the practice facilities
- golf handicap course on a 9-hole course
€ 380,00 per person with a certified 45 hcp. (tournament eligibility)
Waldhof Special:
If you stay at the Hotel Waldhof in 2010 and complete the Golf Handicap Certificate course you are given 1 year’s free, non-resident course membership. 3 nights including our superior half-board arrangement and Golf Handicap Certificate course from € 713,- in a double room “Hochfeld”.

Insight into Golf
Submerge into the fascinating world of golf!
We will introduce you to the wonders of the sport: train your swing with “irons” and “woods” on the practice range and improve your short game and your ever-important putting skills on the green. Take a look behind the scenes and get an insight into the work of a green keeper, find out more about the ins and outs of golfing regulations and etiquette and get to know our magnificent course with our golf pro.
